It offers everything that a good gift shop should: interesting, unusual items (beautifully presented) that you feel you can’t live without. The service and friendliness of Deb and her staff is excellent (Mary Portas would be very impressed) and they always go out of their way to help you find that perfect gift (for someone else, or for yourself!)

Browsing in the shop is always an enjoyable experience for me, but it’s even better when I buy something. In the past, this has included a beautiful wall mirror based on an antique French design, a floral cushion, gorgeous etched drinking glasses, lovely greetings cards and a vintage wooden rolling pin! There is something for all pockets, so do go and have a look. As I write this, I am wearing a beautiful scarf bought at the Attic as a gift for my birthday this year. It has been much admired and was one of my favourite presents! Ooh, that reminds me, I think it might be time to buy some Christmas pressies and I know the perfect place to look…
