October's Customer of the Month was
Rosamond Berry.

"I first met Debbie many years ago when she became my neighbour by opening AFOS: a shop selling unusual, eclectic modern gifts and homeware. It was wonderful for me because all I had to do was pop next door when ever I needed a gift, wrapping and card for special occasions - and on weaker moments for myself! When her shop closed and was replaced by one selling carpets, my girl next door was very missed!

Her new adventure in the 'âttic' is a happy mix of quirky 'french che che a la maison' which I equally love and in a very different way. Equally appealing, equally enticing! My "AFOS" plastic and metal fly-swot with red emblazoned practice target printed on it has just been replaced with a new one from the âttic. It is made of soft leather with a wooden handle.

Thank you Debbie, walking into the âttic is like turning back the clock to discover lotions and potions that filled my Granny's cupboard. A fantastic resonance of nostalgia. My only disappointment is on walking out, when I expect to see horses and carriages - not tarmac and cars!"
